My full name is Abigail (Abbey) Johnson Gropp.
I'm in charge of MOPS craftiness. 
I have four children -- Zeke (8), Eliza (5), Emelia (3) & Jed (1).  
I'm originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania.
Hobbies? Hmmm... aside from changing diapers, I don't have many hobbies these days.
But I have started running... does that count? 
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Papa's & Beer.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd daydream on the beach.
I like sweet & salty! Junior Mints & popcorn together?... out of this world! Or Sno-Caps. Or Doritos & cottage cheese.
Ok, I admit it. I'm on the Hunger Games bandwagon.
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be Love Shack by the B-52's. 
If I had an extra room in my house, it would be a guest room. We love having people visit!
My favorite thing about MOPS is having friends in the same boat!

I'm on the MOPS Outreach team. 
I have two children -- Sydney (almost 1) and Baby Walker (due in Jan).  
I was born in Florida.
To relax, I enjoy reading & baking.
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Papa Johns.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd hold babies!
I like sweet! Love chocolate...
My favorite movie is The Princess Bride. Favorite book?... too many to narrow down!
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be By the Way They Dance by Jump Little Children.
If I had an extra room in my house, it would be a playroom.

I'm on the MOPS Hospitality team. 
I have three children -- Sarah (9), Jackson (7) and Grayson (2).  
I'm originally from here... Anderson, SC.
To relax, I love to watch HGTV... love decorating and shopping for awesome deals. I have a coupon organizer that I've been known to pull out 'cause it's fun to save money
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Thai Spice.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd be an interior decorator.
Ice cream is my favorite.
One of my favorite movies is Hitch... I love comedies! Don't really watch a lot of movies though.

If I had an extra room in my house, it would be a secret room where I'd hide out from time to time.

My full name is Jennifer Weathers Haren.
I'm the Maker of Bread, Table Toppers, & anything else I'm asked to do!
I have two children -- Maggie (4) and Sadie (2)
I'm originally from Townville, SC.
To relax, I like reading, cross-stitching, sewing, crafting, walking, cooking & playing piano.
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Mama Penn's. Or a hamburger from Besto.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd do crafty things ALL the time.
I like salty... specifically salt & vinegar.
Favorite movie is Big Fish. Favorite books are by Pat Conroy & Dorothea Benton Frank.
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be Somewhere Over the Rainbow
If I had an extra room in my house, I'd use it for crafting. Obviously.
My favorite thing about MOPS is getting to know other moms & realizing that nobody's perfect because we all struggle with a lot of the same things.

My full name is Meagan Grand.
My job for MOPS is Publicity. 
I have three children -- Katie (3) and Lila & Julia (2)
I was born in Michigan, but consider Virginia home. I was a military brat so we moved often.
To relax, I like working out & reading. Not that either of those happen very often. 
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Japanese takeout... haven't had it in a long time.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd get paid for just being a mom!
I like sweet. Love chocolate, especially dark chocolate.
Favorite book is The Hunger Games.
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be A Whole New World from Aladdin... my 3-yr-old is singing it right now!
If I had an extra room in my house, I'd use it for arts & crafts. I rarely do crafts, but if I had a room that was all set up for it, maybe I'd do more. 
My favorite thing about MOPS is the other moms! I love meeting & building relationships with other moms!

I have seven children (ALL GIRLS!) -- Cassie (17) , Cierra (15), Cayli (13), Chloe (10), Cadence & Charis (4) and Courtney (9 months)
I was born in Augusta, GA & grew up in Seneca, SC.
To relax, I enjoy anything with my family, playdates &

My full name is Aubrey Anne Rivenbark.
I'm the Moppets Volunteer Coordinator. 
I have three children -- Levi (almost 3)Mary Kathryn (1) and Baby #3 (due in Feb).  
I was born in Boca Raton, FL. Moved to Anderson the week before 1st grade & it's been home ever since. 
I'm not very good at relaxing, but when I have a few minutes of "me time," a trip to Hobby Lobby or Target always
makes me smile! 
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose hamburgers from the The Fox. Baby #3 loves The Fox's burgers!
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd be a mommy! I love getting paid in slobbery kisses!
I like sweet!!! Symphany Brownies & ice cream!
A great book I just read is Loving the Little Years: Motherhood in the Trenches by Rachel Jankovic... a super short book that's PACKED with everyday wisdom
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be The Cha Cha Slide... we often have dance parties in the kitchen.
If I had an extra room in my house, it would be a giant closet.. we live in an older home which I LOVE, but there's very little closet or storage space. 
My favorite thing about MOPS is the meetings... the crafts & speakers... being a part of MOPS Steering Team... using my gifts to serve my community!

I'm originally from Easley, SC.
To relax, I like hiking, camping & fishing.
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Olive Garden. Dude, their portobello ravioli is sexual.
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd travel to remote & exotic places.
I like salty & sweet... anything dark chocolate & a bag of chips.
One of my favorite books is The Good Earth. And on the other end of the spectrum, one of my favorite movies is Dumb & Dumber

If I had an extra room in my house, I'd use it for a bedroom! Dividing seven kids between two small rooms is not cool.
My favorite thing about MOPS is the awesome ladies. Seriously, some really cool chicks come to MOPS & I love them to pieces.

My full name is Margaret O'Driscoll Berry.
I'm the MOPS Coordinator. 
I have two children -- Caleb (4) and Cooper (2)
I'm originally from North Augusta, SC.
To relax, I like photographysoccer, & baking. I guess I'm a little weird in that I like cleaning my house & yard work... it's not relaxing, but I find it satisfying
If I could order from anywhere tonight instead of making dinner, I'd choose Olive Garden
If I could do anything & get paid for it, I'd bake.
I like salty & sweet. Anything with chocolate, chips & dip, peanut butter, popcorn...
Favorite recently read books are The Hunger Games.
If my family had a soundtrack, it would be the theme song for Ringling Brothers Circus
If I had an extra room in my house, I'd use it for a dedicated playroom for all the toys to live in.
My favorite thing about MOPS is being reminded that I'm not alone in my daily struggles!

new to mops?

So you're thinking about visiting Anderson MOPS? Please do! 

We meet the second Thursday of each month at New Covenant Church, located at 301 Simpson Road, Anderson SC 29621. Childcare is provided & your first meeting is free (each subsequent meeting is $5). And we'll have breakfast & coffee... because if you're like me, you need coffee! :)

We'll be kicking off the year at our first meeting on Thursday, Sept 13, 2012. Meeting registration starts at 8:45 am & the meeting begins promptly at 9:00 am. For more info on where park, registration, etc, please click here
